Poll Results – Which Location Are You Wanting To Enjoy Your ‘Hot Tub Break’ In?
As many of you holidaymakers will know, here in the UK we are blessed with many great areas where we can holiday.
We wanted to find out just where you were looking to holiday in your lodge, cabin or cottage complete with its own hot tub.
We set the poll up to let you, our visitors cast your vote.
The top three areas received a significant amount more votes than 4th place and down. All areas received a ‘good’ amount of votes.

We ran the poll for just over 6 months. Allowing the poll to run for a significant amount of time would help us gather enough votes to help us to have confidence in the results obtained.

Poll results – which location for your break
Takeaway points:
– 3 clear ‘leaders’. The results say, you want to holiday in a let with a hot tub in the Lake District 1st, Yorkshire (including the Dales, Moors and Vale) 2nd and 3rd is Scotland.
– All areas received plenty of interest.
– Whilst all areas did receive a decent number of votes – in our opinion we were slightly surprised with the number of votes cast for Cornwall and Devon with 99 (7%) and 127 (9%) votes received respectively.
Looking further into the results…
There’s no surprise about the top 3 destinations. However, when you consider both Cumbria and Yorkshire, whilst large areas both registered more votes than the whole of Scotland and the whole of Wales.
As we said, both Cornwall and Devon did receive a healthy number of votes, however when you look at the number of hot tub holidays available in these areas compared to the Lakes and Scotland, you can take away from it that when looking for accommodation with hot tubs you will most likely have a greater choice to pick from in the South West.
Derbyshire, piped North Wales into 5th position by 16 votes. Located in Derbyshire – perhaps the hugely popular attraction of riding the roller coasters at Alton Towers helped!
As the option of ‘Somewhere Else’ polled 100 votes (7%) showed that the options which we provided did cover the areas where people want to enjoy their getaway.
Misc:
In the past we’ve ran polls to see who you are going on your break away with, how soon you’ll be going, so finding out your preferred location within the UK would help to give an almost complete view of the who, what and where when it comes to our website visitors.
Putting the results of our polls together and taking the most popular responses you could say our visitors place significant importance on having a hot tub, many are wanting to book up and go in the ‘next 2 weeks’ to accommodation in Lakes or Yorkshire and are holidaying with their partner.
