Family fun in Barmouth

This house is absolutely huge! We stayed as a family group of 11 for 3 nights and would thoroughly recommend this property as a base for Barmouth. The photos really don't do it justice! It's a little bit dated in some areas of the decor but most of the bedrooms and bathrooms looked like they'd been recently decorated. The view from the front of the house is stunning and the lounge has a balcony with patio door. There are toy baskets and dvds in the lounge, and 3 huge sofas so plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen and utility room are very well equipped and there's a state of the art washing machine and tumble dryer. There's a fantastic square dining table with bench seating, again plenty of room for everyone. Patio door straight out to the garden (patio, no grass) We used the gas bbq and hot tub! This was a huge hit with the kids. I think it will be helpful to explain the layout of the house, it's over 3 floors. At the front, there's a driveway and space for 3 /4 cars. We were unable to open the double garage door. Access through front door is up the steps, on this level you'll find the lounge, kitchen and utility room, access to back garden and the single and twin bedrooms. There's a toilet off utility room and a family bathroom. Upstairs, there's a double and triple room. Triple has ensuite, double just toilet and sink. Downstairs there's another den/lounge but no TV, just sofas. Also the largest bedroom with 4 beds and ensuite. It's tricky to find, not going to lie! It's set back up a hill behind another row of houses. Only 5 miles out of Barmouth. There's a small spar shop half a mile up the road but it's tiny. Large co-op in Barmouth much better. We did an online ASDA delivery to arrive as we checked in. That was a fab way to stock up for a large group. A fantastic property! Hopefully be back again sometime.
