Lovely relaxing retreat

Had a really relaxing break at Carr House. Facilities and amenities are excellent, house is spotless, very spacious and nicely furnished. Hosts (live next door) are friendly and helpful whilst unobtrusive. Have already booked again for Christmas week. It felt like a home from home from the minute we stepped inside. Lots of interesting areas to explore locally, with some nice restaurants and pubs when dining out. Would recommend Carr House ++

Perfect house and relaxing surroundings

Booked this for a family get together, plenty of room for everyone and the outside space was perfect even when it rained. Owners thought of everything to make our stay perfect. House was very clean and welcoming

Fabulous

9 ladies decided on a weekend away together to celebrate our 50th birthdays. So glad we came here, it’s a lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Julie and David the owners are a lovely couple and are on hand if they are needed. Loved the outside facilities- hot tub, indoor bbq/fire pit room, games room. Both log burners in the house were set up and ready to be lit on our first night which was a nice touch. A couple of nice surprises left for us on arrival by Julie and David too. Would recommend it to anyone, we’ll be back next year.

Amazing family friendly location

Beautiful location and stunning farmhouse and grounds. The kids were able to play out safely and without any fear for them. Plenty of room to roam, play and collect conkers. What an amazing place, and loved the hot tub and BBQ hut facilities. A real treat to play pool, enjoy being outside and the kids loved the special den that has been created in the garden. Will visit again soon!

Perfect Argue group get together

So there was 10 girls celebrating a friends 30th and what a great venue. Was close enough to feel .you hadn’t been driving Forever but felt you were far away with the location. The views were amazing, the space was great, loved the hot tub with the lights ( and the waterproof speaker provided) and the bbq hut...well everyone should have one! Kitchen wasn’t very big for the amount of people but couldn’t complain as there was so much other space. Great pool table but think more could be done with that room. We walked to the local pub which was quite a walk, there probably was a nice way round but walking down the narrow road wasn’t as nice. If stayed here longer would have explored more as looked a fabulous area And the hosts were great and very supportive. Have already been spreading the word!
