Enjoying an enviable position within the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, with far-reaching views towards the Brecon Beacons to admire, is Sewin Cottage. Set in a complex of three, with the owners living nearby, this single-storey accommodation is on the outskirts of Llandeilo. This superb property has been designed for a small family or friends, perfect for those seeking a base to call home as they enjoy both the coast and countryside of Wales. After an action-packed day taking a bracing walk in the Welsh hills, enter into the newly improved (2022) open-plan kitchen and dining/living area, where you can all gather together to enjoy each other’s company and to wind down the evening, with beautiful country views. The kitchen area comes well-equipped with everything you could possibly need to cater your own meals. In the new glass extension with panoramic views, the dining table is a social spot for tucking into home-cooked dishes, toasting to a wonderful holiday and planning the next day’s adventures. Afterwards, sink into the sofa and tune into the Smart TV or get cosy as you delve into a good book. Concluding the interior of the property are the spacious, two ground-floor, en-suite bedrooms, the first boasting a plush super king-size bed and the second zip'n'link twin beds (or super king size on request) with good storage space. To the exterior is a patio, where you can relax and take in the views from the soothing hot tub, or enjoy an alternative spot for drinks and dining at the picnic table, including a BBQ, ideal for cooking up a storm as the younger guests of the group roam the spacious lawn. If you can tear yourself away from this peaceful oasis, take a short stroll to the nearby village, or you could travel slightly further afield to Llandeilo, where you will find a larger selection of amenities including an interesting selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries. The surrounding area plays host to attractions for all ages and tastes, including the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney, a garden lost in time, or for those feeling active, take two wheels to explore the Brechfa Forest. More outdoor activities can be found on the River Towy offering great salmon and sewin fishing and in the surrounding woodland there are opportunities for catching a glimpse of wildlife, including red kites, owls, badgers and deer. Quality Holiday Rental

This 'cottage' exceeded our expectations. The quality of everything from the furniture to the fittings was amazing. The views are exceptional. It's very quiet. It has everything you need - there are even washing machines and a tumble dryer available. Oh, and there's a very decent well maintained hot tub. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, they live nearby, but they are not obtrusive. The cottage is a few miles out of Llandeilo, so there is no shopping on the doorstep. We stocked up at Morrisons on our way in. There is plenty to do in the area - two great gardens, Aberglasney and the National Garden of Wales. Swansea is about half an hour away. St David's is a bit of a drive, but worth the visit. If you like walking, you will be in your element! We've stayed in many cottages, but this one truly is the comfiest, best equipped and full of quality than we have experienced before. Thank you Kevin and Mandy the owners for a fab holiday.
